Steph joined PTR as a clinician in 2022, building upon 5 years of prior clinical experience in a variety of settings. While offering adolescent, adult, and couples counseling she is known as PTR’s eating disorder treatment specialist, supporting the team while providing this therapeutic service to our community, and also supporting clients in a variety of additional capacities.
Steph utilizes an eclectic and person-centered approach. She prioritizes building a strong connection with clients through presence, compassion, and curiosity. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and often uses approaches informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She meets with clients virtually and in person at PTR’s Baldwinsville Office.
Areas of Practice:
Steph offers support to clients experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction/substance use disorders, relationship concerns, grief/life transitions, and post-traumatic stress. She is also passionate about providing safe and affirming spaces for those in the queer community and all those impacted by systems of oppression and marginalization.
Fun Facts:
Steph is a mom to one kiddo and four fur creatures (three cats and one dog). In her free time, Steph enjoys being among trees and bodies of water, connecting with her people, reading novels & poetry, practicing yoga, and re-watching favorite TV shows.
