Amanda Bolos - Intern

Therapy is something done with you, not to you. I walk alongside you using a person-centered approach that integrates eating psychology, mind-body connection, and somatic awareness. I was professionally trained and certified by the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, and I support clients with challenges related to weight, overeating, binge eating, body image, and relationship with food. My work blends nutrition and psychology, focusing not on “shoulds and shouldn’ts” but on what is right for your body and your personal style. In this process, food and body concerns become opportunities for growth rather than battles to fight.

While I specialize in eating psychology, I also work with adults facing anxiety, major life transitions, building self awareness, and the emotional complexities of everyday life. I weave in existential principles and a grounded, somatic-focused perspective to help clients reconnect with themselves and build clarity and meaning. Accepting new clients Jan 2026

I walk beside you as you build self-awareness, self-compassion, and a clearer sense of who you are. I create a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. I’ve supported young adults with food and body challenges, and now work with adults of all ages on eating concerns and life’s broader issues.
